What are your motel room prices?
Room rates at Flamingo Motel vary depending on availability, the number of guests, and the time of year. To view current pricing for our motel accommodations, simply click the "Book Now" button on any individual motel unit page. This will show you the most accurate rates based on your specific travel dates and requirements.

Where are you located?
We are located at 355 Devon Street West, New Plymouth, New Zealand.
From the property, it's approximately a 20 minute walk or 4 minute bike ride the city centre.
What is your cancellation policy?
This policy applies to cancellation of an entire booking or any part of a booking:
If your booking was made through an online travel agent/OTA (e.g Booking.com, Expedia, Wotif, Hotels.com), the cancellation policy of the OTA applies.
If you booked directly with us, whether by phone, email, or through our website, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your arrival. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the equivalent of one night’s stay.
If you have booked a non-refundable rate, a 100% cancellation fee applies at any time.
How do I make changes to my booking?
To make a change to your booking, please contact our friendly staff on 06 758 8149 or email stay@flamingomotel.co.nz and they will be able to help you.
What are you reception hours?
Our reception is open 7 days a week, 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day). We're open 2pm - 6pm every day.
What time can I check in?
Check-in is from 2pm. If you would like to check in earlier than 2pm, please give our friendly team a call to arrange on 06 758 8149.
If you will be checking in later than 6pm, please give us a call to let us know and organise key pick-up if required.
What time is check out?
Check out is 10am. Late check-outs are subject to availability and can only be confirmed on arrival.
Do you take group bookings?
Our team is experienced in group bookings and will work with you to find the best accommodation options for your group.
If you send an email to stay@flamingomotel.co.nz outlining the details of your group, including dates, numbers and any special requirements, our team will aim to be back to you within 24 hours with a quote.
Can I book now and pay on arrival?
We require full prepayment for all online bookings. However, for direct bookings we can work with you for alternatives.

Can I get a discount on my stay?
The best way to get a deal is by booking direct, so check out our website regularly to find promotional deals and best prices.
Do you allow pets?
CATS
Must be caged at all times and are not allowed out of cage even when in Motel unit.
DOGS
We allow small dogs under 2 kgs and a maximum of 2 dogs per booking. There is a fee payable before check-in of $10 per dog per night and we only allow dogs in a few selected rooms.

What facilities do you have on-site?
We have:

Can I request a specific room?
We would love to know your preferences and requirements, but we cannot guarantee specific site or cabin numbers. If you do have a preferred room, please contact our friendly team, who will their best to allocate your preferred option.
Is there parking available at my room?
Every room has a parking space for one vehicle at no extra charge. If you have a particularly large vehicle, trailer, or multiple vehicles, it helps to let us know in advance.
